About me.
I am proud to serve as Assistant Principal at Mary Martin Elementary, where I have the privilege of working with an incredible team of educators who are committed to helping every student learn and grow.
I have spent my career in education serving students, families, and teachers in a variety of roles: 6-10th grade Math Teacher, JH/HS Coach, Counselor, District Counselor, Assistant Principal and Middle School Principal. As a school leader, I believe great schools are built on relationships, high expectations, collaboration, and doing what is best for kids. I am passionate about creating a positive school culture, and making sure every student feels known, valued, and successful.
My family is an important part of who I am. My husband, David, is a business owner and pilot, and we have a daughter, Harper, who keeps us busy and laughing. Before making our home in the Weatherford community, our family had the opportunity to spend 10 months living aboard our sailboat and sailing throughout the Caribbean, an adventure that gave us some unforgettable experiences and an even greater appreciation for home, community, and the people around us. Prior to traveling, David and I lived and worked most of our lives in Lubbock, TX. I am a Baylor University graduate. Sic 'em Bears!
I am grateful to be part of the Mary Martin Elementary Family and Weatherford ISD. I believe that when we work together and keep students at the center of our decisions, we can accomplish truly magnificent things.
