Rehmeyer, Sheila » Welcome

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am about this school year! I consider it a great honor to spend my days with students who are learning to navigate the world, acquire language skills, and soak in academics in very unique way. We will learn together as they teach me far more than I hope to teach them. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and education is no exception. Parents, families and community members are a crucial part to the success of our students, so I encourage each of you to let me know how you'd like to contribute and we will see about making it happen.
As part of our "village" I'd like to you to know who our para-educators are. These two ladies bring with them, experience in language and communication, service, and a huge heart for children with special needs. I am over the moon to have them as part of our team and I know you will feel the same way. Their names are Sharon Geisler and Araseli Sainz.
Rounding out our team are Courtney Garcia SLP and Sarah Knox SLP. Sarah will be providing the student's individual speech therapy while Courtney is spending time in the classroom with us each week shoring up communication interventions. I cannot wait to see the progress that is going to be made. This is going to be a very exciting year.
Please call or email me anytime for anything. You may not reach me right away, but I'll get back to you before I leave at the end of the day.
