Principal's Message

Welcome to Mary Martin Elementary!

I am excited to serve as the Principal for the 2022-2023 school year. I have been an educator for 22 years serving as a 5th and 8th grade teacher, and an Interventionist. Most recently, I have been blessed to work alongside the most amazing group of students, teachers, and parents as the Assistant Principal here at Mary Martin Elementary. 

I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington. My husband Chad and I have two children, Mason (23) and Macey (21). In my spare time, I love to travel, read, and spend time with my family. I believe in the WISD Mission to educate, engage, and empower ALL students in a safe and positive learning environment to discover and reach their greatest potential. I am proud to be a Mary Martin Roo and I look forward to building on the excellence that has been established.
