About Our School

Mary Martin Elementary offers academic excellence for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Located on the far east side of Weatherford, Martin is home to approximately 550 students. The school is named after the famous Weatherford resident, Mary Martin, who is best known for playing the role of Peter Pan. To honor her legacy and passion for theater arts, our talented students perform an elaborate musical each spring. Martin teachers, administrators and staff take pride in partnering with our families and community to create a world class campus that is focused on student engagement, creativity, collaboration, and innovation. Our students strive daily to achieve excellence by displaying “ROO PROUD” positive character. We are honored to have a very active PTA that supports our campus and there are multiple opportunities for parents to be involved in their child’s education.
