Hello!

Welcome! 

 

I am thrilled to be joining Mary Martin Elementary as Assistant Principal! I have served in education for 13 years having taught grades 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th. I have also worked as an Instructional Coach and a K-5 curriculum consultant. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and earned a Master's Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University in 2022. My husband, Kenny, and I have three kiddos: Lane, Brooke, and Emily. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, shopping, and supporting my children in all of their extracurricular activities. 

 

I am committed to supporting WISD's mission to educate, engage, and empower all students in a safe and positive learning environment to discover and reach their greatest potential. I look forward to establishing great relationships with students and families at Mary Martin as we work together to help all students reach their greatest potential. It is going to be a fantastic school year!
